Though IAQ can be a very Complex and Scientific Invisible Threat…We make it Simple
Indoor environmental quality sensors are used to measure the air quality within and around buildings, as it relates to the health and comfort of the building occupants. Indoor air quality sensors are a key component in sophisticated residential and commercial building air handling systems. Airborne contaminants can affect your breathing, mental acuity and overall
health. But knowing about the air you breathe in real time in your present environment can help you take the necessary remedial steps you need to maintain a healthy building and thus healthy people (building occupants). The IAQ Guard 2.0 system keeps it simple and is designed to enable you to do exactly that.
We spend 90% of time indoors, and breath about 3,000 gallons of air a day. Don’t think Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is that important? Think again. The global pandemic of COVID-19 has been associated with infections and deaths among workers. Infectious aerosols is intended to inform appropriate infection control measures to protect workers. Studies of cough aerosols and of exhaled breath from patients with various respiratory infections have shown striking similarities in aerosol size distributions, with a predominance of pathogens in small particles (<5μm) which fall into the range of PM1.0 and PM 2.5. These are immediately respirable. Small increases in 1ug/m3 in long term exposure to PM 1.0 and PM 2.5 air pollution lead to large increases in the COVID-19 death rate.(1) An optimally operated and hygienically clean HVAC system can help reduce the risks of bio-aerosol dissemination. Clean, optimal air quality is a part of our Healthy Buildings program.
Now you can gain the peace of mind by having the air quality in your buildings constantly monitored for changes with the IAQ Guard®2.0 service provided by Building Sciences at Pure Air Control Services. IAQ Guard®2.0 is a battalion of monitors that are strategically placed around your building to log readings for specific IAQ parameters and report back to you and our Building Sciences team. If certain parameters show any consistent signs of trouble our team is notified and will respond to you and the situation accordingly depending on the state of the condition.
It’s like having a centurion standing watch over your building and occupant health.
IAQ Guard® 2.0 is one of the critical cutting-edge air quality sensors for a continuous monitoring of environmental conditions. It not only records real-time data on various environmental contaminants but also produces critical data for optimizing and utilization of energy consumption in indoor environments.

• Soon this sensor will enable the users to learn microbial proliferation in cleanroom with the addition of virus and mold index.
“If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it”
Understanding and controlling common pollutants indoors can help reduce your risk of indoor health experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later.
What Are the PMs?
Particulate Matter (PM), also known as soot, is made of microscopic solid particles or liquid droplets that are either emitted directly into the air or formed by pollutants that combine in the atmosphere. PM is usually measured in three size ranges, which are the most harmful to health: PM10, PM2.5, and PM1.0

The IAQ GUARD®2.0 Difference:
Backed by Decades of Building Data and Science
We understand that the new technology market can be crowded and confusing. Especially where indoor air quality is concerned. There are now numerous devices that can monitor conditions and send data. That, in and of itself, is nothing unique or innovative. The critical differences come down tomainly two areas of focus.
1. Was the product designed and calibrated to accurately track building health?
Pure Air Control Services, with over 37 years (1984) of IAQ experience, was integral to the development of IAQ Guard®2.0 to ensure the highest level of functionality and usability. The tolerances of the sensors as well as how they report data in the visual dashboard were vetted and revised by our team of PHD microbiologists, industrial hygienists, mechanical engineers and building sciences engineers. In fact, the IAQ Guard®2.0 air quality monitors were tested in EDLab’s Environmental Test Chamber to certify efficacy!
2. How do you interpret and use the data being sent to improve building health?
Most air quality monitoring products are just that, “products”. They take readings and display them in an app or on a dashboard. In the end it’s just raw data in need parsing to evaluate patterns that might pose a risk. IAQ Guard®2.0 puts a professional Indoor Air Quality firm on your team! We can advise you on the best way to setup alerts, notice trends and quickly consult on corrective actions if needed. No other IAQ app does this. With the IAQ Guard®2.0 platform and Pure Air Control Services, know that you have decades of experience to help you deploy, discern and determine prescriptive solutions to correct any building health issues that arise.
