Evidence Based Approach to Air Purification Units Workshop Banner

A number of solutions and technologies have been adapted to clean and maintain good indoor air quality. However, each solution has advantages and limitations. The need for optimized air quality control is growing tremendously due to recent increases of building contaminants, infectious agents, and pollutants including SARS CoV-2 (COVID-19/coronavirus). The need-based technologies/services that provide solutions for creating healthy working and living spaces should be developed using a measured, layered strategy. This workshop will discuss recent and ongoing studies concerning air purification units (APU’s).

Key Discussion/Learning Points:

  • Importance of Indoor Air Quality
  • What are Air Purification Units
  • Technology used in Air Purification Units
  • NBPI at a glance
  • Efficacy of Air Purification Units\
  • Right APU option(s) for a specific need
  • Question and Answers

The online session will run approximately 60 minutes with time allotted for questions and answers. Handouts will also be provided, as well as a video replay link.
