Clearwater, FL — EDLab at Pure Air Control Services, Inc., reaching new heights, has expanded its capability by adding a separate Environmental Test Chamber (ETC) for the application of aerobiological, microbiological and other diagnostics & environmental efficacy testing needs. This state of the art test chamber, one of the few in North America, is capable of testing the efficacy of air cleaning devices, air filtration, cleaning products, etc… against bioaerosols and aerosols under control environmental conditions. This is a versatile facility and can be customized as per the need of testing and protocol. The dimensions of this experimental chamber are 10’ x 10’ x 8’ along with the ante room at 4’ x 10’ x 8’. It is fitted with sensors that are capable of monitoring real time data on room pressurization, temperature, humidity, particle counts, carbon dioxide, volatile organic compounds, etc.
ETC is uniquely designed to fulfill the testing needs for the evaluation/efficacy testing on a wide range of technologies/devices/equipment, etc. developed over the years for the management of clean and green environments. ETC construction with state of the art technology is intended to serve a variety of purposes for industrial as well as other Research and Development needs. ETC is designed for successfully handling the demands of conducting laboratory and research experiments to “prove the unproven world of microbes”. The outcome helps in the better management of problems faced by the modern world due to microbial and other environmental factors.
The Environmental Testing Chamber (ETC) at EDLab is chamber testing facility designed to evaluate the efficacy of an array of products. The ETC tests both products/equipment and, if necessary, certified to include:
• Air Cleaning devices
• Air conditioning equipment
• Vacuum Cleaners
• Filtration products
• Cleaning products
• Textiles/Clothing
• Floor Coverings
• Asthma & Allergy Products
ETC can also be used for conducting quality control tests on different products and technology in order to understand their efficacy. The microbiological data generated during the experiments are analyzed by EDLab, an ISO/IEC 17025 compliant laboratory and certified by CDC ELITE. Well-organized and uniform standard operating protocols ensure high accuracy and relevant data as experimental findings.
For product or equipment testing needs contact Dr. Rajiv Sahay, CIAQP, FIAS Laboratory Director, Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory for further details and availability of the test chamber.
