Energy professionals learn how Efficiency and IAQ benefits building health
Each year the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) meets to discuss and highlight industry related topics. 2018 marks the 41st year for this global conference. It offers a forum for energy professionals to learn about emerging trends and technology in the field. The expo portion features more than 700 exhibitors with products and services specifically for improving energy operations and efficiency.
Pure Air Control Services, Inc. will be showcasing innovative IAQ and Energy services to improve building health at this year’s World Energy Engineering Conference (WEEC) being held at the Charlotte Convention Center Charlotte, North Carolina, October 17-19, 2018. Located at booth 314, Pure Air Controls will demonstrate the latest in Indoor Air Quality testing, analysis and solutions for energy professionals. This includes highlighting each of their highly specialized divisions Building Sciences, Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory, and Building Remediation Sciences.
On display will be an interactive demonstration of the PURE-Steam HVAC Coil Cleaning and HVAC New Life hygienic restoration alongside other needed IAQ solutions, such as Indoor Air and Environmental Testing.
This hands-on, walk around demo for energy professionals includes an actual evaporator coil where one half was deep cleaned with the Green Clean Institute Certified PURE-Steam process and the other half left in the condition in which it was found before being removed from its facility for disposal. Attendees will be able to take airflow readings across the coil and view results in real time to see the difference! On average gains in Delta-P and CFM are 35% or more with PURE-Steam! A recent case study with Georgia Tech University reported a 7 ton improvement on 25 ton unit that was operating at 15 tons prior to the PURE-Steam cleaning. This translates into better control and energy efficiency.
The unit also illustrates the before and after results of HVAC New Life restoration. The HVAC New Life process combines M&V testing, PURE-Steam coil cleaning, PURE-Liner 2.0 and PURE-Coat water resistant/anti-microbial painting into a single service to hygienically restore old equipment. The air handling units restored with HVAC New Life typically see big gains in energy efficiency that result in lower operating costs, extended life and improved indoor air quality.
Representatives from Pure Air Control Services, Inc. will be available to answer questions and discuss specific needs relative to partnership opportunities to improve the health comfort and energy efficiency of your buildings.
